    Turkish stock trading rate increases 2.5 times annual in 1Q

    (MENAFN)Data revealed by the Turkish Capital Markets Association (TCMA) showed that Turkey’s stock market witnessed a transaction volume of 5.18 trillion Turkish liras (USD700 billion) in the January-March period of 2021.

    The trading rate improved by 2.5 times annual in the first quarter of the current yea, stated the association's figures.


    In the first three months of 2021, the average US dollar/Turkish lira exchange volume stood at 7.39.

    Domestic investors' trading rate increased by 145 percent to stand at 3.8 trillion Turkish liras (USD514 million), according to the TCMA.
