Bahrain's Undersecretary for Political Affairs to meet Israel's President
(MENAFN)Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Undersecretary for Political Affairs in the Foreign Ministry went to Israel and started his four-day visit.
The senior Bahraini diplomat arranged assemblies with Israel's President Isaac Herzog and Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, declared the Israeli foreign ministry.
The statement further declared that "The undersecretary will also meet with various groups representing Israeli civil society, universities and research institutes to strengthen ties between Israel and Bahrain."
Israel and Bahrain inked US-brokered agreements to normalize their relations in 2020.
