Kuwait to cover expense for treatment of victims from fuel tanker explosion in Lebanon
(MENAFN)According to Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), Kuwait is going to cover the cost for treatment of the burn victims from a fuel tanker explosion in Lebanon.
Musaed Al-Enezi, head of the KRCS mission in Lebanon, has visited wounded Lebanese at a hospital, noting that the society answered to humanitarian call to add to the treatment of the wounded considering the high costs and the critical economic and health situations in Lebanon, KRCS further declared.
It added that Kuwait is not going to be uncertain to intervene in emergencies, saying that KRCS is doing this humanitarian initiative in collaboration with the Kuwaiti embassy in Lebanon and the Lebanese Red Cross.
Kuwait reported sending a plane to transport a number of the burn victims to treat them at its expense in the country.
