    Qatar highlights need to revitalize intra-Arab trade

    (MENAFN) The requirement to revitalise intra-Arab trade was highlighted by the Qatar Chamber (QC) Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani that is still under the level of determinations that shows about 10 percent of the total Arab trade.

    Regardless of the being of tremendous facilities and the complete customs exceptions given by the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAFTA) found 20 years ago, the intra Arab trade still needs solutions to be on the track again, stated Sheikh Khalifa.

    He lauded the assembly of the 131st session of the Board of Union of Arab Chambers that took place last June with the attendance of unions heads, heads of Arab chambers of commerce and industry, he also highlighted the most significant issue that are considered the need of improving the intra-Arab trade.
