    International ratings agency Moody's increases Turkey's economic growth forecast for 2021

    (MENAFN) On Tuesday, International credit ratings agency Moody's increased Turkey's economic development estimation for the current year from 5 percent to 6 percent.

    Moody’s reviewed the expansion estimation of the Turkish economy for next year from 3.5 percent to 3.6 percent, stated the report of its Global Macro Outlook 2021-22.

    A revival in the tourism sector maintained the expansion in the Turkish economy supported by the ongoing global economic recovery and progress in COVID-19 vaccination, it further declared.

    The Moody’s report also stated that G20 economies meanwhile are estimated to increase by 6.2 percent in the current year and 4.5 percent in next year.
