Iran says creation of joint free zones may improve relations, economic conditions
(MENAFN)According to the acting managing director of Arvand Free Zone Organization, Hossein Garousi, “By promoting economic diplomacy, we can develop relations with neighboring countries, which will also lead to prosperity for the free zones.”
Garousi further declared that "Diplomacy should not be just political," saying, "We need economic diplomacy, especially with neighboring countries to improve people's livelihoods”.
He also stated that the establishment of joint free zones may improve ties and develop economic conditions.
He also called the free zones as an opportunity for the country, adding, the application of the law on how to manage free zones can develop present problems and obstacles.
