    Saudi Arabia plans to offer more food delivery jobs to meet growing demand

    (MENAFN)Saudi Arabia plans to offer more food delivery jobs and businesses so it can run into increasing demand.

    SPA reported that the sector saw monthly average demand of SR1 billion (USD266.6 million) in the January-March period of 2021, showing 45 percent yearly.

    A three-year joint collaboration deal was inked by the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) with the Social Development Bank (SDB) to finance self-employed citizens by allowing them to own private vehicles they can use to work in delivery applications.

    the Authority further declared that the deal contains training of beneficiaries.

    In addition, to inspire entrepreneurs to invest in delivery applications, CITC also inked a deal with the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises.
