    Turkey's year-on-year inflation increases to 19.58 percent in September

    (MENAFN) According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat), Turkey's annual inflation value climbed increased September in comparison to the preceding month.

    TurkStat further reported that consumer prices increased 19.58 percent annual in September, from 19.25 percent in August.

    However; the number was lower than market predictions as a group of 16 economists estimated an average yearly improvement of 19.69 percent.

    Food and non-alcoholic beverages represented the greatest annual price improvement of 28.79 percent, followed by a 23.27 percent price rise in furnishing and household equipment, and hotels, cafes, restaurants.
