    Saudi Arabia's waste recycling sector needs capital investments worth USD26.6B

    (MENAFN)CEO of the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), Ziad Shiha declared that Ziad Shiha Saudi Arabia's waste recycling sector requires capital investments valued at SR100 billion (USD26.6 billion).

    Shiha further declared during an online meeting organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers that “I invite business owners to invest in the waste recycling sector, which provides more than 77,000 jobs and raises the domestic product to more than SR120 billion."

    The official also stated, SIRC that is allied with the Kingdom's Public Investment Fund is aiming to work with the private sector to shift 94 percent of waste away from landfills.
