Value of trade amid Iran, members of the Eurasian Economic Union surpasses USD2.483B
(MENAFN)According to IRNA, the worth of trade amid Iran and the members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) surpassed USD2.483 billion in the first half of the current Iranian year to mark 40 percent development in comparison to the previous year same time span.
IRIB quoted spokesman of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Ruhollah Latifi as saying that Iran traded 5,549,311 tons of goods valued at USD2,483,129,784 with the EAEU members, up also 12 percent in terms of weight.
The Islamic Republic exported more than 1.167 million tons of commodities valued at over USD514.399 million to the EAEU in the period under review, five percent and 36 percent over the last year’s same time span in terms of weight and value, correspondingly.
Latifi further declared that the top destinations for the Iranian exports to the EAEU in the mentioned period were the Russian Federation with USD270.394 million, Armenia with USD123.675 million, Kazakhstan with USD78.628 million, Kyrgyzstan with USD32.195 million, and Belarus with USD9.505 million of imports.
