    Turkish stocks closes last day of 2021 with drop of 0.32 percent

    (MENAFN) On Friday, the Turkish major stock index concluded the final trading day of 2021 by a drop of 0.32 percent to end at 1,857.65 points.

    Opening the day at 1,867.71 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell six points from Thursday's end.

    The Index increased by nearly 25.8 percent on an annual basis, while it soars 2.7 percent in December. The BIST 100 amounted at 1,885.23 points, whereas its lowest record of the day stood at 1,857.92 points in Friday's exchanging.

    As of the daily end, the overall market worth of the standard index was about 1.5 trillion Turkish liras (USD115 billion), with an everyday exchanging volume of 16.7 billion Turkish liras (USD1.2 billion).
