Expectations for Dubai Financial Market trading capacities to surge

(MENAFN) Exchanging capacities on both the Dubai Financial Market and Abu Dhabi Securities Exchanges are predicted to increase within the following days as the two stock exchanges shift to a Monday-to-Friday exchanging week in alignment with most international exchanges.

Both the DFM and ADX stated that they would work from 10am to 3pm from Monday to Friday, after the UAE government's move the previous month to alter the weekend from Friday and Saturday to Saturday and Sunday. Two days ago was the first Friday of exchanging on both stock exchanges since this move.

According to the head of high-net-worth clients and retail equities at Al Ramz Capital, Marwan Shurrab, “as we go into 2022, this will have a substantial impact on the turnover and appetite of foreign investments into the UAE markets.”
