ICCIMA head disapproves Iran’s national budget bill for next year

(MENAFN) According to ICCIMA portal, head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) has disapproved various elements of the government’s projected budget bill for the upcoming Iranian calendar year (begins on March 21).

The official stated those comments during a gathering of the ICCIMA Board of Representatives on Sunday, Gholam-Hossein Shafeie stated a few of the details of the budget bill which can result in big difficulties for the nation’s private sector in the upcoming year.

Absence of partnership and communication with the private sector in creating the budget bill was the first problem brought up by the ICCIMA head, stating: “First, the private sector has been completely absent from the next year’s budgeting process. Unlike in previous years when the private sector was formally invited to meet with those involved in preparing the budget bill, this year private sector was completely ignored in the process.”
