    Iran, Russia trade jump by 41 percent in 9 months

    (MENAFN) According to the spokesperson of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Iran’s trade value with Russia increased 41 percent during the period from March 21, 2021 to December 21 of the present Iranian calendar year, in comparison to the corresponding time span of the previous year.

    Ruhollah Latifi set the Iran-Russia trade at 3.558 million tons worth more than USD1.656 billion in the stated time frame, of which 838,602 tons valued at USD432.877 million were Iran’s export to Russia and 2.729 million tons valued at USD1.224 billion were Iran’s imports from that nation.

    The official declared that Iran’s export to Russia jumped 29 percent in worth and 15 percent in volume, and its imports from that nation increased 45 percent in worth and 11 percent in volume during the period of nine-months of this year from that of the year earlier.
