    Iran’s exports to ECO associates increase by 52 percent

    (MENAFN) According to the spokesperson of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) statement, the country’s exports of goods with the associates of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) stood at USD7.6 billion during the period from March 21, 2021 till December 21 of the present Iranian calendar year to record a 52-percent jump on an annual basis.

    Based on IRNA referring to Ruhollah Latifi, the Islamic Republic exported 19,856,531 tons of commodities worth USD7,640,488,517 to the stated nations during the mentioned time span.

    The official also added, the exports weight also jumped by 41 percent compared with the past year’s corresponding time frame of nine months.

    Latifi expressed that Iran exchanged more than 23.24 million tons of non-oil commodities valued at USD11.754 billion with the associates of the mentioned union during the first three quarters of the present fiscal year, demonstrating a 44-percent rise regarding price and a 30-percent increase in terms of volume, on an annual basis.
