    Iran’s exports of agricultural, foodstuff items reach about USD3.8M

    (MENAFN) According to Iran’s Deputy Agriculture Minister Mohammad Ghorbani statement, the country’s exports reached 6.263 million tons of agricultural and foodstuff goods valued at USD3.878 billion during the first three quarters of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-December 21, 2021).

    Based on IRIB, Ghorbani stated that farmers in the nation exported 795,000 tons of watermelon, 617,000 tons of fresh or chilled tomatoes, 598,000 tons of fresh apples, 528,000 tons of fresh or chilled potatoes, as well as 284,000 tons of onions, shallots, and garlic during the stated time frame.

    The official also mentioned, the aforementioned goods were the highest exported products during the stated nine months regarding weight.

    He also expressed that regarding value, pistachio, tomatoes, watermelons, dates, and apples were the most exported products, correspondingly.
