    Dubai aims to hold 400 international economic fairs yearly

    (MENAFN) Dubai aims to hold 400 international economic fairs on a yearly basis by 2025, after the emirate held 120 fairs last year pushed by a strong economic rebound following coronavirus prompted hindrance.

    According to a Dubai Media Office statement on Sunday, these fairs, which are a mixture of conferences, gatherings and encouraging travel programs, are going to host around 70,000 opinion leaders, scientists, government spokespersons as well as other specialists.

    According to Helal Almarri, director general of Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism statement, “the city’s handling of the pandemic and rapid economic recovery continues to be recognised by the global business community.”

    The official also noted, “in addition to seeing Dubai become a hub of choice for businesses, associations and talent across a wide range of sectors and professions, this is also resulting in the city standing out as a preferred destination for events of all sizes.”
