    Residential units in Iran jump by 1.1 percent

    (MENAFN) Based on a report issued by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), median housing cost jumped 1.1 percent in the capital Tehran in the tenth Iranian calendar month Dey (ended on January 21), in comparison to its preceding month.

    IRIB stated according to the CBI data, the median cost for one square meter of a housing unit in Tehran amounted at 329.4 million rials (around USD1,135) in the stated month.

    The median housing cost during the mentioned month also surged 20.3 percent compared to the corresponding month in the last fiscal year.

    Though, the number of property agreements amounted at 9,800 in the capital city during the tenth month of this year, climbing 0.5 percent and 179.3 percent, from the last month, and the parallel month of the previous year, in that order.
