    TASI registers increases for 2 straight days over profits wave

    (MENAFN) Saudi Arabia’s benchmark stock index, TASI, closed with high figures on Monday for the second day in a row, increasing by 0.37 percent to 12,249 points, as the revenues wave carried on.

    The corresponding market Nomu dropped by 0.14 percent lower to 25,281 points, managed by glass manufacturer Obeikan on its opening, soaring 30 percent. On TASI, Amana Insurance stayed strong as it was on the top of the gainers with a 4.38 percent increase.

    The country’s biggest bank in terms of value, Al Rajhi Bank, jumped up by 0.4 percent, whereas Alinma Bank plummeted 1.85 percent amidst exchanging of more than 13.5 million stocks. Petrochemical giant SABIC registered a 0.33 percent drop in its stake cost.
