    Tehran, Muscat cooperate to grow economic ties

    (MENAFN) On Tuesday, Iran’s Industry, Mining and Trade Minister Reza Fatemi-Amin along with Oman's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sayyid Badr Bin Hamad Bin Hamood Al Busaidi held discussions to explore paths for growing relations between both nations.

    According to the portal of Industry Ministry Shata, Fatemi-Amin went on a trip to Oman’s capital Muscat heading a top-ranking trade commission to join the 19th Iran-Oman Joint Economic Committee conference which is being hosted throughout February 8-9.

    Al Busaidi stated while speaking in the gathering, that his nation is ready for increasing economic ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

    Fatemi-Amin also highlighted the close-knit ties between the both nations and mentioned: "We have long-standing relations based on friendship and mutual closeness with Oman, and these friendly relations will pave the way for the promotion of trade relations."
