    Turkish overall revenue registers yearly increase of 82.4 percent

    (MENAFN) According to the Turkish statistical authority announcement on Friday, the country’s economy registered an 82.4 percent yearly increase in overall revenue in the last month of 2021.

    Based on the latest TurkStat figures, the radical change came in the industry, which soared 101.4 percent on a yearly basis.

    The construction sector registered a yearly increase of 46.4 percent, whereas the services and trade indices surged by 82.9 percent and 77.6 percent, in that order. The seasonally and calendar-adjusted overall revenue index jumped by 12.8 percent in December month-on-month.

    TurkStat also mentioned, “industry increased by 20.1 percent, trade increased by 11.0 percent, services increased by 7.6 percent and construction decreased by 4.6 percent on monthly basis in December 2021.”
