Past Turkish Airlines chairperson to be CEO of Air India
(MENAFN) According to Tata Sons announcement on Monday, the past chairperson of Turkish Airlines Ilker Ayci was elected as the CEO of the national carrier of India, Air India.
Based on the corporation’s statement, Ayci is going to take on duties starting April 1.
Ayci stated, "working closely with my colleagues at Air India and the leadership of the Tata Group, we will utilize the strong heritage of Air India to make it one of the best airlines in the world with a uniquely superior flying experience that reflects Indian warmth and hospitality." Moreover, he was the chairperson of the Turkish national flag carrier from April 2015 to January this year.
