Iran to boost energy relations with Russia, Azerbaijan
(MENAFN) Iran, Russia, and Azerbaijan energy ministers, as the area’s most dominant nations in the electricity industry, highlighted the necessity to develop local collaboration in the energy sector.
In a historic conference on the sidelines of the sixth Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) Summit in Qatar on Tuesday, Ali-Akbar Mehrabian, Nikolay Shulginov, and Parviz Shahbazov, the energy ministers of Iran, Russia, and Azerbaijan, all together exchanged perspectives on increasing local collaboration in the sector of electricity.
They highlighted the important influence of energy security as well as the energy economy on the growth of the area.
