    Iraq’s central bank governor visits Iran to grow monetary relations

    (MENAFN) Iraq’s Central Bank Governor, Mustafa Ghaleb went on a trip to Iran together with a top-ranking commission, intending to establish banking and monetary ties between both nations.

    According to the CBI portal, in his trip, on Thursday he encountered with Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Ali Saleh-Abadi in the capital of Iran to discover ways of enlarging monetary ties between both nations.

    During the conference, Ghaleb mentioned the close-knit ties between both nations in the areas of banking and finance and urged to get rid of hindrances in the way of growing joint collaboration.

    In his trip to Tehran, Ghaleb was joined by the managing director of the Trade Bank of Iraq as well as the nation’s consultant to the prime minister.
