    Residential prices in Iran soar by 0.4 percent

    (MENAFN) Based on a report by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), the median residential price jumped 0.4 percent in the capital Tehran in the eleventh Iranian calendar month Bahman (ended on February 19), in comparison to the month that precedes it.

    According to the CBI data, the median cost for one square meter of a housing entity in Tehran amounted at 330.6 million rials (around USD1,271) in the stated month.

    The median residential price in the stated month also soared 16.4 percent when compared to the corresponding month in the past fiscal year.

    As stated, the number of property agreements amounted at 8,500 in the capital city in the eleventh month of the current year, dropping 13.1 percent from the preceding month, whereas surging 117.8 percent, from the corresponding month of the previous year.
