    Iran’s non-oil exchange soars 38 percent

    (MENAFN) According to a senior official with the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) announcement, Iran’s worth of non-oil exchange soared 38 percent in the period from March 21, 2021 to February 19, 2022 of the present Iranian calendar year, in comparison to the corresponding time span of the previous year.

    Based on IRIB report referring to IRICA Deputy Head for Customs Affairs Foroud Asgari, Iran exchanged more than 149.4 million tons of non-oil commodities valued at USD90 billion with other nations during the stated time span.

    Asgari expressed that the exchange volume in the stated time frame also surged by 12 percent when compared to the number for the past year’s parallel 11 months.
