Iran’s yearly non-oil trade register rise of 38 percent

(MENAFN) According to the head of Islamic Republic of Iran’s Customs Administration (IRICA) announcement, Iran’s worth of non-oil exchange jumped 38 percent during the previous Iranian calendar year 1400 (ended on March 20), in comparison to its preceding year.

Alireza Moqadasi set the country’s non-oil exchange at 162 million tons valued at USD100 billion in the previous year. He stated that the nation exported 122 million tons of non-oil products valued at USD48 billion in the past year, which was USD14 billion (41 percent) higher than the figure for its last year.

The official highlighted, the nation’s non-oil exchange record in 1400 was attained while the harshest penalties were forced on the country, but thanks to God and the efforts of businesspersons, producers as well as the collaboration of overseas trade-related groups, a historical record was accomplished in the previous year which was unparalleled in the latest decades.
