    Tunisian president cautions parliament for organizing sessions

    (MENAFN) Tunisia’s President Kais Saied has cautioned the nation’s adjourned parliament against assembling the current week.

    On Monday, the parliament stated that it is going to organize two complete sessions the current week to “revoke” procedures imposed by Saied and to talk about circumstances in the North African nation.

    Saied declared in a video released by the Tunisian Presidency, “compromising with the country’s unity is a threat to the security of Tunisia and the Tunisian people.”

    The president also mentioned after a meeting of the National Security Council, “the State and laws are in place and there is no way to affront them.”
