    Iran’s oil revenues increase higher by 10 percent than set goal

    (MENAFN) Based on Shana’s report on Monday, Iran’s Oil Minister Javad Oji stated that the nation’s oil profits during the last Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20) were 10 percent higher than the goal fixed in the national budget bill for the year.

    Oji stated, “the government did not have a budget deficit in terms of oil revenues in [the Iranian calendar year] 1400.”

    The official highlighted that the country will not to disclose the methods through which the nation tackles its oil exports.

    Based on Oji, according to last year’s national budget bill the government was assumed to get 1.99 quadrillion rials (more than USD7.9 billion) of oil profits by the yearend whereas the oil ministry succeeded to get 10 percent higher than the stated number.
