Turkish main stock exchanges end Wednesday with low figures
(MENAFN) The Turkish main stock index Borsa Istanbul ended Wednesday’s trading session with low figures, dropping 0.43 percent to 2,316.40 points.
The BIST 100 index opened the day at 2,330.03 points, the stock index plummeted 9.89 points from Tuesday's all-time high end of 2,326.29 points.
Throughout Wednesday's exchanging, the BIST 100 soared between 2,308.27 and 2,348.17 points as 40 stocks jumped, 59 dropped, and one remained at the same value in comparison to the last ending.
Ending the day with a market worth of about 1.9 trillion Turkish liras (USD129 billion), the major stock index registered an everyday exchanging volume of 43.1 billion Turkish liras (USD2.9 billion).
