    Turkiye's trade sales amount jumps 6.2 percent in Feb.

    (MENAFN) Turkiye’s marketing sales volume, a sign of rising customer expenditure, rose 6.2 percent in February in contrast to February 2021, based on Turkish statistical expert.

    Non-food sales – without automotive fuel – soared 12.6 percent on an annual basis in the same month, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) information.

    On the other hand, sales of food, beverages, and tobacco, in addition to automotive gasoline, decreased by 0.6 percent and 0.7 percent, one-to-one.

    In between non-food items, textile, apparel, and footwear sales increased the most, on the rise of 31.2 percent, then medical products and cosmetics, which jumped 16.2 percent.

    Trades by mail order and the internet soared by 20.7 percent on an annual basis in the same mentioned month.
