    Iran’s yearly trade exports to African, Arab nations surges by USD2.6B

    (MENAFN) According to Farzad Piltan, director-general of Trade Promotion Organization (TPO)’s Office of Arabian and African Countries statement, Iran’s value of exports to its African and Arab exchanging countries surged by USD2.6 billion or 20 percent in the past Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20).

    The TPO portal reported based on Piltan, Iranian exports to Arab and African nations hit USD16.293 billion in the past year, whereas the figure amounted at USD13.595 in the prior year.

    The official also mentioned that Iraq with USD8.9 billion of imports, United Arab Emirates (UAE) with USD4.9 billion, Oman with USD716 million, Ghana with USD353 million, and South Africa with USD254 million were the major export locations for Iranian goods in the year 1400.
