    Iran’s yearly exports to Iraq reaches 20 percent

    (MENAFN) Based on Tasnim news agency statement quoting official data, Iran’s value of exports to Iraq surges 20 percent in the past Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20) in comparison to the prior year.

    As stated, Iran goods exports stood at USD8.916 billion to its partner during the stated year, turning Iraq into the Islamic Republic’s second-largest exchange partner.

    Exports to Iraq amounted for 18.3 percent of the nation’s overall non-oil cargos during the past year.

    As declared by the chairperson of the Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce, Iran is aiming to enhance its yearly exchange with adjacent Iraq to USD20 billion.
