Erdogan: Turkey, Kazakhstan target to reach USD10B exchange volume

(MENAFN) On Tuesday, the Turkish leader stated that Turkey and Kazakhstan are going to achieve their aimed USD10 billion joint exchange capacity as the volume increased by double since the 2021.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated to a combined press conference alongside his Kazakh equivalent Kassym-Jomart Tokayev "The trade volume between Turkey and Kazakhstan rose 58 percent from the previous year and exceeded USD5.3 billion. Thus, we have quickly surpassed our target of USD5 billion."

The leader stated "Now, hopefully, we will reach the target of USD10 billion just as quickly with the steps we take together."

Erdogan also stated that he considers a conference with Turkish-Kazakh businesspeople agreed for Wednesday is going to be "particularly beneficial in this respect."
