Iran, Afghanistan to cooperate to improve nation’s mines

Mohtashami-Pour stated that Throughout the visit, good discussions took place about mining collaboration and possible difficulties that occur because of guidelines and some decisions by the Afghan administration, in addition to volumes that could be the opening points for Tehran-Kabul collaboration in the mining business.

In line with the deputy minister, Iranian firms, mainly big companies, are careful about security problems in Afghanistan.

Mohtashami-Pour stated that “The development of Afghanistan's large mines is only at the beginning of the way and the necessary infrastructure requirements must be prepared in this regard, however, with a strong extraterritorial presence in the field of mining, we will be sensitive to identifying capacities and using them.”
