    TEDPIX drops 11,000 points on Wednesday

    (MENAFN) TEDPIX, the benchmark index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), fell 11,047 points to 1.594 million on Wednesday.

    As mentioned in reports, more than 9.503 billion securities valued at 54.881 trillion rials (nearly USD182.93 million) were exchanged at the TSE.

    The first market’s index dropped 9,099 points, and the second market’s index declined 19,126 points.

    TEDPIX exceeded 1.6 million points after 20 months on Tuesday, as it increased 22,225 points to 1,606,025.

    As issued on the website of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), 58.919 billion securities valued at 351.381 trillion rials (around USD1.171 billion) were exchanged at the trading throughout the past Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday, May 13).

    As mentioned in reports, 27.161 billion securities valued at 178.394 trillion rials (nearly USD594.646 million) had been exchanged at the TSE, which is Iran’s main stock exchange, throughout the week ended on May 6.
