Turkey’s 4th drilling vessel reaches Tasucu Port set to stay for 2 months

(MENAFN) On May 19, Turkey’s fourth drilling vessel reached its destination in the Tasucu Port in the southern region of Mersin.

The vessel began its voyage from the Okpo Port in South Korea on March 7 and is going to stay at the port in Mersin for nearly two months in arrangement for its first drilling implementation in the Eastern Mediterranean sea.

The new ship is a seventh-generation, deep-water drillship, one level upper than the three other vessels, Fatih, Kanuni, and Yavuz, in the nation's fleet.

The adding to the fleet is part of the national procedure to improve technology as well as use regional gear for energy plans.
