    Iran’s exchange with Tajikistan increases 463 percent annually

    (MENAFN) The presenter of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) declared the amount of non-oil exchange among Iran and Tajikistan stood at USD131 million in the last Iranian calendar year 1400 (ended on March 20) to record a 463 percent increase annually.

    IRNA mentioned in a report that in line with Ruhollah Latifi, the pressure of supplies exchanged among the two nations also rose by 489 percent against the year 1399 (ended on March 20, 2021).

    Latifi stated that regardless of great historical and cultural ties among the two nations, exchange among the two sides is far from desirable.

    Iran exported 124,737 tons of commodities worth USD91.6 million to Tajikistan in the last year which was 535 percent over the year before in terms of mass and 459 percent more in terms of value.
