    IME trades around USD650M worth of Commodities in 1 week

    (MENAFN) Throughout the previous Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday), 1,919,620 million tons of commodities valued at over USD647 million were exchanged at Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME).

    As mentioned in reports by the IME’s Public Relations and International Affairs Department, the exchange traded on its metals and minerals exchange base 1.417 million tons of commodities worth nearly USD324 million.

    On this base the IME traded 726,497 tons of cement, 312,000 tons of iron ore, 298,882 tons of steel, 34,500 tons of sponge iron, 10,125 tons of aluminum, 10,500 tons of copper, 26,029 tons of zinc, 150 tons of molybdenum concentrate, 1,000 tons of cast iron ingots, 1,000 tons of coke as well as 9 kg of gold bars.

    Additionally, the IME saw on both local and export rings of its oil and petrochemical exchange floor 495,944 tons of commodities valued at around USD316 million.
