    Iran’s non-oil exports rises 21pct in Q1 annually

    (MENAFN) In line with the chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) the worth of Iran’s non-oil exports amounted to USD13.69 billion in the opening quarter of the present Iranian calendar year (March 21-June 21), rising 21 percent against the same quarter of last year.

    Alireza Moghadasi stated that Iran exported 27.7 million tons of non-oil commodities in the stated three months, Tasnim news agency mentioned on a report on Wednesday.

    In the meantime, a total of 8.154 million tons of goods worth USD12.464 billion were imported into the nation in the mentioned quarter to list an 18 percent increase in terms of worth against the last year’s same period.

    Moghadasi stated that in overall, the Islamic Republic exchanged around 36 million tons of non-oil goods valued at USD25.5 billion with its exchange associates in the opening quarter of the ongoing Iranian calendar year, surging 19.5 percent in terms of value.
