    Egypt, Oman export-import exchange increases 7pct last year

    (MENAFN) The worth of the trade exchange among Egypt and Oman has witnessed a rise of 7.20 percent year-on-year (YoY) to reach USD586.20 million in comparison to what was recorded last year USD546.90 million.

    As shown by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) Egypt shipped goods valued at USD163.30 million to Oman in 2021, signaling a 4.10 percent decrease from USD170.20 million in the year before (2020).

    The majority of goods which Oman received from Egypt were fruits, with the whole value amounting to USD30 million.

    The Arab republic in the meantime received Omani goods of USD422.90 million last year (2021), marking a surge of 12.30 percent YoY than USD376.70 million.

    Different ores were the highest on the list of Omani exports to Egypt with a value of USD325.90 million.

    According to reports Egypt exported goods valued at nearly USD45.20 billion last year, recording the nation’s highest level ever.
