Iran’s non-oil shipment to Turkey increases 57pct
(MENAFN) In line with the data issued by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) the worth of Iran’s exports of non-oil goods to Turkey rise by 57 percent in the initial five months of this year.
IRNA mentioned in a report that the issued data presented that Iran has shipped commodities valued at USD1.536 billion to its neighbor in the stated period.
The entire worth of trade among the two nations also rose by 39 percent to reach USD2.742 billion in the stated months, whereas the number stood at USD1.975 billion in the same span of time of last year.
In the meantime, Turkey’s exports to Iran surged 21 percent to reach USD1.206 billion, whereas the number stood at USD996 million in the same five months in the last year.
Based on the mentioned data, Iran's exchange balance with Turkey was USD330 million up throughout this span of time.
As mentioned in reports, Iran shipped USD304 million worth of goods to Turkey in May, while importing USD262 million worth of commodities.
Iran was the 17th highest export destination and the 19th import provider of Turkey in May 2021.
