Turkish Eşarj company prepares to increase fast-charging stations to 495
(MENAFN) Turkey’s electric charging station network, Eşarj, is going to expand its current fast-charging stations to 495 in the nation, the firm declared in a report on Wednesday.
With 94 percent of its stokes owned by Turkey’s electricity firm Enerjisa Enerji, Eşarj is going to finance almost 300 million Turkish liras (nearly 17.36 million US dollars) to expand its network as part of the Fast-Charging Stations for EVs Program.
Eşarj has started Turkey’s first charging operator facility since 2009 and functions 495 charging stations throughout the nation, from which 258 are fast charging.
With this strategic venture in charging stations, the firm targets to generate some extra electricity sales of 418 million kilowatt-hours.
It anticipates to stop the releases of 598 million kilograms of CO2 by the close of this decade, corresponding to the quantity of CO2 that 37 million trees are able to clean.
