    OPEC: Iran’s oil production increases 31,000 bpd in June

    (MENAFN) In line with OPEC’s most recent monthly report issued on Tuesday, Iran outputted 2.574 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil last month, recording a 21,000-bpd rise in comparison with the number for the prior month (May 2022).

    As mentioned in a report Iran outputted 2.543 million bpd of crude oil in May according to a subordinate source.

    According to OPEC records, the Islamic Republic’s regular crude production for the April-June period of this year reached 2.560 million bpd representing a 32,000-bpd rise in comparison with the number for the January-March period of the year.

    The report put the average Iranian crude production for 2021 at 2.392 million bpd, whereas the average production in the year before was informed to be 1.991 million bpd.

    The nation’s heavy crude oil cost also rose by USD0.37 last month, to record a 0.3 percent increase in comparison with the prior month, as shown by the OPEC report.

    Iran traded its heavy crude oil at USD115.85 a barrel in the stated month, against May’s USD115.48 a barrel.
