ISIPO revives 211 idle industrial units in 100 days
(MENAFN) Chief of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) stated that 211 idle industrial units have been recovered in the nation’s industrial parks and regions in 100 days since the start of ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21).
Ali Rasoulian said: “We have planned to revive 1,600 idle units in the present year, which is predicted to create jobs for 28,800 persons.”
Adding “The mentioned 211 units returning to the production cycle, our target for this year has been materialized by 13 percent.”
The official also stated that by recovering these units, jobs have been produced for at least 4,481 persons, which indicates that the job formation aim has been materialized by 16 percent.
Rasoulian has earlier confirmed that 2,067 idle industrial units were recovered in the nation’s industrial parks and zones throughout the prior Iranian calendar year 1400 (ended on March 20).
In line with the ISIPO chief, with the recovering of the stated units job opportunities were produced for more than 39,000 people.
Rasoulian stated that “ISIPO had put it on the agenda to revive 2,000 stagnant units inside and outside industrial parks and zones in the previous year and by the end of the year 2,067 idle units returned to the production cycle, which provided employment for more than 39,000 people.”
