Iran’s province Semnan grow its export by 38pct in Q1 YoY
(MENAFN) As shown by a provincial official the worth of shipment from Semnan district, in the north central Iran, rose by 38 percent in the first 3 months of the ongoing Iranian calendar year (March 21-June 21), in comparison with the same quarter in the last year.
Ali Sa’ddedin, the director-general of the province’s customs department, stated that 57,000 tons of outputs valued at USD25.5 million were shipped from the district in the three-month span of time.
He stated the outputs were shipped to 25 nations, and named constructional materials, tiles, cement, washing powder as well as lead ingots as the main shipped items.
As earlier declared by the deputy chief of the province’s Industry, Mining and Trade Department, 290,000 tons of commodities valued at USD97 million were shipped from Semnan in the last Iranian calendar year 1400 (ended on March 20), which signify a 54 percent increase in worth and 12 percent expansion in mass against the previous year.
