    Iran’s inflation level increases 1.1 percent

    (MENAFN) The Statistical Center of Iran (SCI) has set the average inflation rate in the yearly basis ended on July 22, which indicates the end of the fourth Iranian calendar month Tir, at 40.5 percent, increasing 1.1 percent against the number for the twelve-month finished in the third month.

    The Statistical center put the nation’s point-to-point inflation level at 54 percent in the stated month, which shows families have compensated an average of 54 percent higher for buying the same package of commodities as well as facilities in that month, in comparison with the fourth month in the prior year.

    The inflation level stood at 52.8 percent for the urban households, increasing 1.4 percent from the prior month, as well as 60.7 percent for the rural households, surging 2.5 percent from the month before.

    The Statistical Center of Iran has set the average inflation level in the twelve-month span of time finished on March 20, which indicates the end of the last Iranian calendar year 1400, at 40.2 percent.
