    Iran’s yearly tax income reaches more than USD12.7B

    (MENAFN) Chief of Iran’s National Tax Management (INTA) Davoud Manzour stated that the nation’s tax income hit more than 3.54 quadrillion rials (at least USD12.7 billion) in the last Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20).

    As satated by Manzour, the stated amount contains both direct and indirect taxes, Tasnim News Agency mentioned in a report.

    The official pointed out that more than 50 percent of the nation’s tax revenues are composed in Tehran and INTA is doing all the needed actions to dodge tax evasions in this region.

    He also stated that in the present year’s national budget bill, the government has projected the nation’s tax revenues to be 4.54 quadrillion rials (more than USD16.3 billion) of which 1.43 quadrillion rials (nearly USD5.13 billion) have been claimed in the opening four months of the ongoing calendar year (March 21-July 22).

    Considering the above-stated numbers, the aim tax revenues for the mentioned period have been understood by 95 percent, on the word of the INTA chief.
