(MENAFN) The firm stated on Saturday that the ranking of Turkish Cargo, the air cargo carriage operator of the national flag carrier Turkish Airlines, jumped to fourth spot between highest worldwide air freighters last month.
Quoting the World Air Cargo Data for last month, Turkish Cargo stated that its market stake reached 4.8 percent, whereas the air freighter market decreased by 6.9 percent.
Ahmet Bolat, chairman of the Turkish Airlines board and executive committee stated that "This success achieved by Turkish Cargo demonstrates our commitment to make Türkiye the heart of the air cargo industry in the world."
Bolat repeated the freighter's target of becoming one of the highest three air cargo trademarks by the next three years, with a worldwide income of USD3.5 billion as well as a logistics ecosystem valued at USD2 billion.
As mentioned by the statement Turkish Cargo achieved to carry one cargo out of five in the world.
Turkish Cargo reaches more than 340 destinations – such as 100 direct cargo destinations – with a fleet of 383 aircraft, 20 of which are devoted freighters.
