Wizz Air Abu Dhabi prepares to continue trips to Moscow

(MENAFN) Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, a two sided project among UAE holding firm ADQ as well as Hungary-based Wizz Air, is going to continue trips to Moscow in October after actions to Russia were blocked previously this year.

The budget airline is going to function a day-to-day flight from October 3, with prices starting at Dh359 (USD97.7), Wizz Air Abu Dhabi stated in an announcement.

Michael Berlouis, managing director of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, stated that “We support the UAE’s travel and tourism industry by enhancing connectivity both regionally and globally, in line with national regulations and policies.”

The airline had declared in October that it would start trips to Moscow, its first Russian terminus, at the end of this year.

It blocked flights to Moscow on February 27.

"The airline is resuming its operation to Moscow to meet travel demand for passengers wishing to fly to and from Russia from the UAE capital," as stated by the airline.
